VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK
Precision's Frame Relay Private Network (MCI) takes VPN to the next level in access and security. Connections are not over the web but on Precision's own dedicated fiber optic lines. This provides more security, better reliability and minimizes latency problems encountered on the internet. The backup continuity plan provides Precision will guarantee 24/7 uptime. The plan consists of an uninterrupted power supply, disc mirroring and daily disc backup at separate off-site locations.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The basis of Precision's inventory management process is Enterprise, our internally developed software program. Some of the benefits of Enterprise are:

AUDIT VERIFICATION
Audit Pay is a digital scanning and 3-way match Accounts Payable system, which provides for guaranteed accuracy and payment of merchandise, freight and miscellaneous invoices assuring that no supplier is over paid for products or services.
BAR CODING
All Precision managed inventories are completely bar coded, including inventories at client sites. Many of these clients utilize this bar code technology incorporating Precision's Smart Storeroom to perform all inventory management functions. These functions include management of min/max levels, automatic replenishment, cost allocation and cycle counting.
VIRTUAL INVENTORY
The Enterprise centralized database creates a virtual inventory whereas all parts throughout Precision's entire network are visible from any Precision location.
FREIGHT RATING AND AUDIT
Precision's logistics and freight rating system automatically selects the lowest cost carrier. The system contains 800,000 zip codes and selects from negotiated rates.
