Hormel Honors Precision for Fifth Consecutive Year



This is the fifth consecutive year Precision has won the Spirit of Excellence award and the tenth time in eleven years. The Spirit of Excellence award recognizes suppliers who attain ‘certified’ status, have a proven track record of meeting measurable requirements, have a ‘do it right the first time’ attitude, and demonstrate a desire to join the company in quality improvement.

Hormel noted that, “Without the on-going special efforts of partners like (Precision), we would not be able to accomplish continued quality improvement of our products and services.

Precision Industries Awarded Vendor of the Year Award In 2006

VanderVoort Dairy, a division of Kroger Manufacturing, awarded Precision Industries their first annual VENDOR OF THE YEAR award on January 4th, 2007. The award was given for outstanding customer service in 2006. Plant management and representatives from purchasing, maintenance, and engineering were on hand to honor Precision with this award.

Precision Associates Receive 2006 Coca-Cola Parts Recognition Award

Coca-Cola Parts and Coca-Cola North America recognized Brenda Phillips and Jonathan Nordell for their continued support and efforts in driving the Coca-Cola Parts vision forward. The awards were presented by John Walsh, Director Parts & Equipment Procurement & Fulfillment, at Precision Industries Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.

Baldor Names Precision Outstanding Distributor in 2005



For the fourth year in a row, Precision Industries has been awarded the prestigious Baldor Eagle Award. This award is presented to Baldor's Top Growth Distributors each year.

The Baldor Eagle Award honors those distributors that represent Baldor very well and also show continued sales growth. Distributors are nominated by the Baldor Sales Representative and approved by the District Manager. Following that, the Baldor corporate office reviews each candidate and makes the final selection.

The Spirit of Excellence Award is presented annually by Hormel Foods the company which has attained service standards of excellence and who has assisted Hormel Foods in their quest for
superior customer satisfaction.

Precision Receives Lozier's Certified Supplier Award

Precision Industries has received Lozier's Certified Supplier Award for 2005. This is the 12th straight year Precision has been honored with this award. Considerations for this certification include quality, cost, speed and service.

Since 1956 Lozier has been a leading manufacturer of retail store fixtures in both national and international markets. Lozier is Headquartered in Omaha, NE with manufacturing facilities in Omaha, Alabama, Missouri and Pennsylvania covering more than 2.41 million square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.

Precision Industries Once Again Recognized as a Leader in Industrial Distribution

Precision Industries is coming off a "record year" in 2004, president and COO Chris Circo says, with "double-digit growth that's still tracking into 2005." Precision continued to nurture the acquisitions of previous years and continued to roll out aggressively, and implement new supply chain programs, he says. One of Circo's bigger concerns for his company is hiring good people. "We've been able to recruit and hire and promote the people we have and, of course, train and develop those folks within our business." Keeping that going is an ongoing concern, he adds. "Recruiting, hiring and retaining good, solid people is the biggest challenge...."

Precision Industries Once Again Recognized as a Leader in Industrial Distribution

Precision posted record sales in 2002, "despite all we've been through," says Dennis Circo, CEO. The branch side of the business posted strong gains, he adds, while the company's bottom line was challenged. "It was one of the biggest growth years on the branch side of our business that we've ever had," says Circo, who credits several large accounts and a few strategic acquisitions with helping to boost sales. Roughly 33% of the distributor's sales come through integrated supply contracts – an area that Circo calls "surprisingly strong." The company is running about 10% to 12% ahead of 2002 numbers.

Precision Receives Lozier's Certified Supplier Award for the 11th straight year



The Eaton Top 20 Distributor Award is given to the distributors who exhibit outstanding promotion of Eaton products through sales growth. To qualify, a distributor must have year over year growth in Eaton products purchases from 2001 to 2002. Points are awarded for overall volume of Eaton product purchases, growth by dollar volume, growth by percentage, program participation and for credit worthiness.

The ARO Exceptional Growth Award is given in recognition of exceptional growth year over year to a key distributor partner for IR ARO (now IR Productivity Solutions). To be eligible, the distributor must be in good standing and be classified as an 'A' class distributor. 'Good standing' indicates the distributor is a willing and active participant in the sales and marketing activities of IR ARO and jointly promotes product penetration and service opportunities into the marketplace.

Precision was awarded the Blue Chip Enterprise Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for outstanding growth and innovative progress such as integrated systems and partnering.

Power Transmission Distributors Association Honors Precision


Precision received the Power Transmission Distributors Association Trailblazer Award, the most prestigious award in the industry. Based on the Malcolm Baldridge criteria and ISO standards, this award is presented to the manufacturer or distributor whose firm best exemplifies excellence and leadership in striving for Total Quality Management.
